BHI has a state of the art library, the purpose of which is to inhance academic knowledge of medical students, resident doctors and private practioners in Baroda.
 
     Bankers Heart Institute has taken a big initiative to start a library for medical students, resident doctors and private practitioners for the city of Baroda to provide a congenial environment to enhance academic knowledge. This library is situated near Bankers Heart Institute in a calm climate-controlled environment. It possesses more than 500 books on internal medicine & cardiology, interventional cardiology, critical care medicine, radio diagnostics, pharmacology etc. The library is also well equipped with Internet access and leading journals in the field of medicine and cardiology.
   
 

Journal Club
   
 
BHI organizes journal club every Wednesday, where our esteemed cardiologists as well as colleage physicians present different scientific articles and case reports from leading journals.
 
     Bankers heart institute functions actively in academic grounds. Every Wednesday we organize a Journal club to share and broaden our knowledge. Our esteemed team of cardiologists as well as colleague physicians present different scientific articles and case report papers from international journals, which is attended by many practicing physicians from in and around the city, the focus is on scientific know-how, controversies and grey areas in clinical practice and theoretical research.
   
 
 
DNB & Training Programme
 
BHI is the 1st premier cardiac tertiary care institute in Vadodara to be accredited by the National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi for superspeciality training DNB cardiology.
     After achieving commendable success and laurels in corporate and private practice, we have surged ahead in an altogether new era of medical education with a motive to endow a new breed of cardiologists and various technicians to the city of Vadodara. Bankers Heart Institute became the first premier cardiac-care institute in Vadodara to be accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) New Delhi for training in DNB Cardiology. In the months to follow we are also coming up with many medical as well as paramedical courses such as technical courses in radiology, Echocardiography, theatre and Cathlab technicians etc.
 

Trials
 
The institute is involved in a number of multicentric multinational clinical trials and research projects
     Bankers Heart Institute being a tertiary care unit is also involved in a number of academic, multicentric multinational clinical trials and research projects. Our trials are well supervised by our own local Ethics committee, which functions for the safety and rights of the patients and lookout for Good Ethical Practice (GEP).
 
Yash Charitable Trust
 
An endeavour of the Bankers Heart Institute, is actively involved in rural health awareness and health promotion
    Without forgetting the humane touch, the Yash charitable trust, an endeavour of the Bankers Heart Institute, is actively involved in rural health awareness and health promotion among the under-privileged. It also extends moral, social and financial support to assist poor and needy patients with expensive surgeries and interventions, free Echocardiography all the year round. It has also moved ahead by helping NGOs and charitable trusts working for orphaned street children in slums and on railway platforms.
